About Trixie Keepers

Many years ago, while visiting a website for a different fandom (*cough* X-Files *cough*), I stumbled across a clever idea and fell in love with it. People could "claim" favorite items from the show and become their virtual guardians, or Keepers. And naturally, I thought, "Why couldn't we do the same thing with the Trixie Belden series?" If the idea seems completely foreign to you, consider it something akin to adopting a virtual pet at an online game site, but thankfully, these items don't need to be periodically fed to stay happy!
I designed the original Keeper page as part of my old JellyBaby Wuz Here website. Some of you might recognize the old logo. Then life happened. It has a tendency to do that. I am extremely grateful to Dana and Schoolgirl Shamus, Inc., as well as Jixemitri, for keeping the Keepers for me in my prolonged absence.
And I'm delighted now to be bringing the Trixie Belden Keeper Page back with this new Trixie Keeper wesbite! I'm even happier to say that Trish has agreed to help me with running it. Even if you are a previous Keeper, please take a moment to read over the rules, as we've tweaked the format a bit to account for those Keepers who are no longer actively participating in the Trixie community.
Have fun with this! And be creative! If you're new to Trixie Keeping, don't feel discouraged and think "all the good stuff is taken!" There's so much more still available to claim.

ABOUT JENNI (THE RELUCTANT MONKEY)
Jenni? JellyBaby? Jane Poe? The Reluctant Monkey? I answer to them all. I also answer to, "Hey, you!" so, as you can see, I'm not terribly discriminating when it comes to names. I have two primary websites dedicated to Trixie. The first, The Reluctant Monkey, is where you'll find a list of my stories and some other random things, such as a downloadable version of the Acrobat Alphabet (Mysterious Code) in TrueType font. The other is A Simple Kind of Fear, my canon-ignoring, soap-operatic wild ride dedicated to a certain very non-traditional couple. If the idea of Trixie and Regan together doesn't instantly make you break out in hives, you might want to give it a shot. :)
ABOUT TRISH (FRAYLER ACADEMY)
Trish has awesomely (awexinely!) volunteered her time and help to keep the Keepers keeping. (And no doubt at some point she will log in here and edit that perfectly dreadful sentence.) As the JIX mod who previously helped run the Keeper page, I can think of no one better for the job. Oh, and did I mention she has her own Trixie site, too? If you've never visited it before, hop on over to Frayler Academy. Right now. Yes. Now. Don't worry. The Trixie Keeper Page will still be here when you get back. So go on. You'll be very glad you did.
